SWCU's 52nd Anniversary: International Conference on the Global Impact of Women Migrant Workers from South East Asia


To celebrate the Satya Wacana Christian University 52nd Anniversary, the Center for Gender Research and Studies - Satya Wacana Christian University (Indonesia) together with I-SEED (Austria) have hosted on December 2, 2008 an International Conference on the Global Impact of Women Migrant Workers from South East Asia. It aims at providing the scientific foundation for further action on the wider topic of Women Migrant Workers from South East Asia. It has to be stressed that the 2008 Salatiga Conference did not be a political conference but that its aims are solely scientific.

In this conference 6 papers have been presented. They are:
